THE MISSION
"Nephesh Wellness Ministries was created to help believers reclaim the life God intended — a life of peace, strength, clarity, and purpose."
In Scripture, nephesh represents the very breath of God within us. When life drains that breath — through trauma, stress, disconnection, and sin — we lose our sense of identity, energy, and direction.
This ministry exists to restore that breath — through Christ-centered wellness that heals the soul, renews the mind, strengthens the body, and awakens purpose.

Dr. Sherman L. Arrington, PhD, DMin
Apostle Primus · Prophet · Ordained Elder
Dr. Sherman L. Arrington is an Ordained Elder, Prophet, and Apostle Primus, married to Prophet Dr. Kimberly Nelson-Arrington, who works faithfully alongside him in ministry. He is used by the Lord in demonstration and manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit confirming the Word of God.
With 45+ years of experience in Ministry, Christian Leadership, Education, Business Accounting, Operational and Financial Auditing, and Not-For-Profit Organization Design and Compliance, he has been identified as an "Expert in Church Compliance" by the Cook County Judicial System, Chicago, Illinois.
He serves as Adjunct Professor at Richard Daniel Hinton University (Chicago), Provost of Elisha Christian University (Hammond, IN), Vice President of The Brinson Institute of Kingdom Leadership and Development (South Bend, IN), and retired Adjunct Accounting Professor at Joliet Junior College. He has aided the organization of more than 70 churches and not-for-profit and for-profit organizations across America.
He is President of Global Vision Ministries (Des Plaines, IL) — 17 churches planted in Southern India — and Founder/Apostle Primus of Maturing the Believers Nephesh in Christ (MTBNIC), the Zaquan Prophetic Commission (ZPC), and Board President of the Dowling Foundation, NFP.
He also founded and leads the 5/8 Fold School of Kingdom Leadership and Development, equipping believers for fivefold ministry service and kingdom advancement.

Dr. Kimberly Nelson-Arrington
Licensed Clinical Psychologist · PhD, Pastoral Care & Counseling
Dr. Kimberly Nelson-Arrington is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for the State of Illinois and earned a PhD in Pastoral Care and Counseling. Over the past 20+ years, she has provided services to individuals and groups in hospitals, primary care settings, skilled nursing facilities, and college counseling centers, as well as in public, private, and alternative schools with inner-city "at risk" youth who have survived abuse and trauma.
She spent eight years with the American Cancer Society providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and their loved ones, and served as Adjunct Professor at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University (Chicago campus).
She is the Co-founder of Nephesh Wellness Ministries and the CEO of Nephesh Wellness LLC, her private practice, integrating theology and spirituality with clinical psychology and incorporating nutrition and physical fitness — treating spirit, soul, and body — according to 3 John 2.
